Meet the Team...
Our resident Wedding Co-ordinator, William
McGowan will be there every step of the way in the run-up and
planning of your big day here at the hotel. William joined the
Grand Central team in September 2010 and has already made his mark
on the hotel.
Having worked in the beautiful surroundings of
Chatelherault Country Park for 5 years, as part of their Front of
House team, William moved into Weddings and Special events as his
chosen path.
It was from here that William went on to study
Events Management at the City of Glasgow College, where he was
awarded a Citizenship Award for his work. He was also named as a
Committee member of the renowned HIT Scotland Emerging Talent
Conference Team.
When the Grand Central Hotel went in search of
their ideal Wedding Co-Ordinator, we needed to look no further than
William. Attentive, knowledgeable and professional, William takes
the stress away from organising the Wedding Venue and Catering to
make sure that you have the day you always dreamt of.
We are incredibly proud to announce that
William was also named as the Rising Star Wedding Co-Ordinator of
the Year 2011 at the Scottish Hotel Awards.
